Indiasreport.com is not a news website. It does not pretend to or intend to compete with any news websites in being the first on news. It is essentially a site which wants to fill the gaps which is often left by the mainstream media. Be it in exclusive news or analysis or commentaries. We are quite happy when the mainstream media does its job effectively and sincerely and raises the issues in the public domain, which it is meant to. However, we would like to step in when it does not or will not or is not allowed to for various reasons.

We know in the Indiasreport.com that we can never be a competitor to the mainstream media, but what we can certainly be is the conscience of the people, and prod the mainstream media to look at issues which it has failed to. This is the role which we would like to undertake, and have in fact undertaken in the past five years or so, that this site has been around. Whether it’s the Radia Papers or the Radia tapes or the style of electioneering witnessed in Tamil Nadu and the use of money power, or the shenanigans of a Lalit Modi, we have exposed them all. And we will continue to expose, comment and analyse, freely on the issues affecting the country and the world.
