I am sure that time will tell the difference. The some of the ministers (ministry) handled by TC and DMK will surely see a revamp in a couple of years, and by the time the next elections are due (or called), we will see some of the young brigade taking charge of Key ministries. The so called under representation to UP, Orissa, AP etc may be due to political compulsions (remember both AP and Orissa had Assembly elections and hence has 5 years to settle down) and partner demands. Congress kept all major portfolios.
But I am very disappointed as no one get a cabinet berth in government from UP. when WB get 7 minister with two most influential ministries and Tamilnadu get 9 ministers which includes MHA and IT, Then why UP got only five ministers and no one of them is of cabinet rank. AS far as competence and national issues are concerns is a parameter for this, than I don’t think Mamta deserve what she get. Recently she gave an interview in which she said “i will spend 5 days in west Bengal in a week”. This statement clearly indicates what kind of vision and mentality she has for the country.

Its means that if UP wants better share in government, then voters need to go with regional party as DMK and TC get some important portfolios.

After all he can get anything senctioned from any ministiers!. Regional personality based parties should go.
