With the seven-phased Lok Sabha elections 2024 ending today, it is time to find out what pollsters predict will be the general election result on June 4, Tuesday.
Saturday’s voting marked the end of the marathon polling process that began on April 19 and covered 543 Lok Sabha seats in 28 states and Union Territories. The assemblies of Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim also went to polls.
According to Election Commission guidelines, television channels and news outlets are allowed to run exit poll data and its results on June 1, Saturday after 6:30pm. The turnout in the first six phases of the election was 66.14%, 66.71%, 65.68%, 69.16%, 62.2% and 63.36%, respectively.
